THE REAL HOUSELIGHTS · ADMIN HANDBOOK
A practical guide to your customers, proposals, payments and installation season.
This is the home dashboard. Start with search or a quick action; use filters when you need a specific group.
Use the large search box or persistent bottom search. Tap a result to open it. New customer remains available in the bottom bar and quick actions.
Scheduling, New customer, project photo upload, quick text, wiring map upload, Messages and SMS follow-ups are directly accessible.
Customer & job status contains customer categories and balance/job filters. Installation & reinstallation contains year and reinstall filters. Location contains town selection. Active filters appear as removable chips; Clear all resets them.
Active jobs, Balance due and Scheduled are clickable filters. Totals reflect the current search and relevant filters, so clear filters to broaden your view.
Open the profile from the main card. The separate contact and quick-action buttons remain available directly on each card.
The Ask Admin AI button at the bottom of the customer list opens the existing assistant and document intake tools.
Contact details stay directly editable near the top. The section buttons appear at both the top and bottom. Each section now has a clearly labeled destination.
Find the customer name, address, project value, property type, proposal creation controls and contact actions. The print and photo-upload shortcuts remain above the profile header.
Edit name, street, town, state, ZIP, phone and email directly. Changes save automatically after you finish typing.
Find first installation year, project summary, customer cover notes, project tags, installation status and document links. One-tap tags and installation controls keep their existing behavior.
Find installation prices, package/rate choices, added items, discounts, deposits, payment details, balance and year-specific installation history. This section is no longer repeated above every other tab.
All saved proposals appear one after another, newest first. Open an individual proposal inline or in a new tab. Refresh reloads the collection; Show Proposal Trash switches to archived proposals.
View SMS images, installation photos, wiring maps, renderings and uploaded documents together. Upload photos, open full-size originals, download files or select images to print.
Open this customer’s conversation view and its available messaging tools.
Edit customer notes and internal/admin notes. Both use automatic saving. Installation-year notes are in Pricing & payments for the relevant year.
Review this customer’s changes and available links to the field involved. Saved proposals are in Proposals.
Review this customer’s visits and open available recordings/transcripts. Direct replay links from notifications continue to use the existing session routes.
Start by finding the customer. Use Pricing & payments for the annual customer account and Proposals for the actual online proposal tools.
Customer → Pricing & payments → relevant installation year. Tap a package/rate or enter the price. Prior years expand with their year heading. Use Add installation year when needed.
Customer → Pricing & payments → year → add-on groups. Tap an item once to add it; tap again to increase its quantity. Edit quantities or unit prices in the item rows. Custom items need a price.
In the same year section, use the loyalty buttons or the available discount, referral credit and final total override fields. Existing locked loyalty rules still apply.
Use the payment/deposit controls for the relevant year. Check the year’s total, payments and remaining balance together. Existing explicit payment confirmations remain in place.
Customer → Proposals → the specific saved proposal → its existing admin editing controls. Use the controls for that proposal’s type; annual billing edits are under Pricing & payments.
Use Create Custom Proposal or Create Permanent Lighting Proposal in the customer header. Permanent and seasonal proposals remain separate workflows.
Use Copy customer link or the existing resend control when shown in the profile action area. Copying does not send a message; sending remains a deliberate action.
Tap Year-Round Leave-Up in the profile action area. It opens Proposals and the leave-up settings. Choose the applicable proposal there; customer selections remain part of the existing proposal flow.
Scheduling brings the season’s jobs together. Customer profiles retain their own installation details and notes.
Use All customers, Reinstalls, New installations, Already scheduled, Not yet marked, Completed Jobs or Declined / Lost. Search or narrow by zone and block.
Use the one-tap installation block buttons or Choose exact date. A scheduled job offers Change schedule. Watch the row’s saving/saved feedback.
Tap Installation completed on the customer’s scheduling card. Existing toggling, saving and removal-status rules remain intact.
Use Scheduling snapshot from the scheduling subnavigation.
Use Bulk review for installation type and the available customer/project fields.
For one customer, use Print Customer Information above their profile. For all customer sheets or a blank truck copy, use Print & templates.
Use the dashboard shortcuts or the customer’s upload buttons. Saved files are found under Photos & files in the customer profile.
The overhaul changes the organization and appearance. It retains the existing save mechanisms and one-tap actions.
Tag buttons, add-ons, package choices, installation controls and editable fields keep their existing handlers. You do not need to open a separate edit screen for contact details.
Waiting means typing is still being collected. Saving means the request is in progress. A checkmark and saved message confirm success. Not saved means the change needs attention; use Retry where offered.
Wait for Saved after editing. If a save fails, keep the page open and retry. Existing unsaved-change protection remains in place.
Uploads, proposal generation, message sending and explicit payment actions keep their existing buttons and confirmations. Automatic saving does not mean that a customer message is automatically sent.
Clear dashboard filters, check the installation year, and open the correct customer tab. In Proposals, try Refresh and check Proposal Trash when appropriate. Search results may also show a separate Deleted / Trash group for matching archived records.
